For the past 10 years, UniField process engineers have teamed with industry to bring critical renewable fuels process facility projects into production, whether that be relatively standard process units or pilot and demonstration stage facilities. We are accustomed to providing services ranging from front end options studies and pro forma analysis to construction administration and startup support. Within the area of Hydrocarbon Processing, UniField capabilities range from liquids and gas processing within petroleum refining and oil & gas production, to liquid hydrogen handling and biodiesel facilities design. UniField is completely equipped with the latest process and mechanical modeling tools, as well as process safety management (PSM). In Agricultural and Specialty Chemicals Processing, UniField has completed projects within seed oil production and refining, to DDGS digestion and nitrate fertilizer production. Through our deep experience in providing power and process engineering to the Pulp & Paper industry, UniField is a leader in biomass-based combined heat and power facilities design.
In addition to engineers and designers, we have a complete staff of procurement, scheduling and construction management specialists - enabling UniField to assume full engineering responsibility for your project through startup. On major projects, our typical contracting approach is as the owner’s EPCM agent, wherein UniField holds engineering responsibility for the project from study through startup, commissioning and acceptance testing.
