In the 1980’s, UniField began serving the Pulp & Paper industry in the Northern Rockies and has since added to its specialty staff and network of offices to where we now offer highly efficient support to mills from the West Coast to the Great Lakes. We provide owners with facility studies, preliminary and detailed engineering, as well as procurement and construction administration, on small through major capital projects. Our service approach is to deliver high engineering quality and efficiency on every project.

UniField’s staff includes many engineers and designers with over 20 years of Pulp & Paper operations and project experience which enables our project focus to be on delivering optimum return on client investment. Owners rely on our thorough and accurate studies and cost estimating to assist them in annual capital and major project budgeting. To that end, our engineers are well versed in the latest equipment designs, regulatory mandates and plant operating benchmarks. UniField’s full-service staff has the experience and ability to complete all facets of process, electrical, mechanical and civil/structural design of small projects as well as major plant expansions and green field installations.

In addition to engineers and designers, we have a full-time staff of procurement, scheduling and construction administration specialists - enabling UniField to assume full engineering responsibility for your project through startup. On major projects, our typical contracting approach is as the owner’s EPCM agent, wherein UniField holds engineering responsibility for the project from study through startup, commissioning and acceptance testing. For small capital projects, we most often team with the owner’s staff to achieve a flexible, low-cost delivery.
